About Paul Clark

Paul met his wife Mechthild while working for the youth ministry Teen Challenge in Wiesbaden, Germany.  After being married for less than one year they moved to the U.S. and planted an Assemblies of God church in Freeland, Michigan. Both their children, Stephanie and Michael were born in Michigan, but grew up bilingually in Germany.  Working with Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden (BFP) the Clarks planted six churches throughout Germany. Over the years Paul has coached and consulted numerous church plants in the German States of Rhineland Palatinate, Thuringia, Berlin and Saarland. Presently the Clarks are living in Lindau, Germany and recently turned over the church plant in Bregenz, Austria. www.fcg-bregenz.at to their son Mike. Paul continues to consult various church plants and is active in teaching seminars throughout German speaking Europe.

Paul has completed doctoral studies doing extensive missiological research on the origins of Pentecostal church planting in Germany. Here you can read his Doctoral Dissertation: German Pentecostal Church Planting 1945–2005: Implications for Intentional Mission in the Twenty-First Century.
