Paul met his wife Mechthild while working for the youth ministry Teen Challenge in Wiesbaden, Germany. After being married for less than one year they moved to the U.S. and planted an Assemblies of God church in Freeland, Michigan. Both their children, Stephanie and Michael were born in Michigan, but grew up bilingually in Germany. Working with Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden (BFP) the Clarks planted a church in Saarbrücken. Over the years Paul has coached and consulted numerous church plants in the German States of Rhineland Palatinate, Thuringia, Berlin and Saarland. Presently the Clarks are planting another church in Bad Dürkheim which is located about 100 Kilometers southwest of Frankfurt. www.fcgduerkheim.de
